# Temperature check: Forking Silo v1 on Optimism

Tl;DR  
With the DAO’s approval, we plan on the following

1. Apply for a three-month grant that can be renewed (rolling).
2. Fork Silo v1 on Optimism.
3. Deploy money markets on Optimism and launch a new UI.
